Development of a Scale to Remove Farmers’ Sustainability Barriers to Meteorological Information in Iran

Even with significant breakthroughs in the production and delivery of meteorological information, most farmers are not able to utilize such information properly pertinently. Up present time, a standardized scale has been developed examine farmers’ sustainability barriers use (BMIU). Furthermore, there is no doubt that identifying indicators dimensions weather forecasts’ usage by can play major role their adaptation resilience risks climate change. Therefore, study aimed generate validate for BMIU through an eight-step approach. Accordingly, statistical population included 9006 Iranian farmers, 368 whom were selected as samples. The principal component factor analysis (PCFA) second-order confirmatory (CFA) further practiced develop use. Factor also led emergence five latent factors including “educational–communicative (ECBs)”, “normative (NBs)”, “informational (IBs)”, “infrastructural–political (IPBs)”, “professional–economic (PEBs)”.
